Celebrate legal innovation
The Financial Times was delighted to host the Europe Innovative Lawyers Awards as a live virtual event.
The event is complimentary view and we were joined by law firms and clients, in-house legal teams and legal service providers alike to find out more about what makes an innovative lawyer in the current climate.
Claims of innovation are tested in times of crisis. In 2021 lawyers are being called on to think creatively for survival and recovery, but they also need a vision for a different era in business and society. Undoubtedly the word which encapsulates this new era is sustainability. As business transforms to prioritise sustainability, so too must the legal industry. This is not just about transforming to be bigger and faster; firms also need to be resilient, adaptable, and holistic.
The Awards provided the opportunity to network virtually with lawyers and business people across the region, and were a chance to celebrate, not just for the award winners, but for everyone who is passionate about driving innovation in the legal sector to bring good to business and society, particularly in these difficult times.
